Quirkster

Hi there! :) Just a quick post here. Have you noticed anything different? If you have noticed it is my blog layout, yes! that's one well keep guessing! Alright , alright, I bet you probably won't notice my curly hair haha. Remember when I told you that it has always been my dream to have a long and curly hair? Well here it is, I wish it can be permanent though. :(

Anyway, let's now talk about my outfit. The print on my dress, puffy sleeves, bubble skirt and mouse shoes, it doesn't get any quirkier than this that's why I feel like a quirkster. LOL! I feel so young in this dress it definitely gave me that happy vibe.

Illusion

Kamiseta Corset
Cruella & Co Maxi skirt
SM Accessories Gold Belt
Thrifted Necklace
Mario d' Boro Sandals

Can anyone guess how tall I am? I really love the illusion that maxi skirts give. I look tall right? Considering I am not even wearing heels here. Maxi skirts can also create slimmer silhouette. I think this will be one of my go-to pieces. You can just pair it with a cropped top for that boho look, plain white shirt for that laid-back look, coloured/neon tops for a fun look or style it this way for a formal look. Finally,  threw on this sweater to protect me from the cold weather and also minimal accessories to complete my look. How would style maxi skirts? I'd love to know :)

Black and Gold

Hey guys! I know it's too late for a hair bun maker tutorial but I still just want to share this with you :) So I made a hair bun maker because I still don't have one up until now haha! Anyway, for my readers who still don't have one and wish to have one like me here's a simple DIY hair bun maker.

All you need is an old sock preferably the same color as your hair and a pair scissors.

First step is to cut off the toe of the sock and then roll it up into a donut shape and you're done. Easy as pie right? :)

I decided to wear a classic ensemble as I think it goes well with my hair bun. Clean, simple, black, red and gold.

That's it for now, til next time :)

Summit

bag from Norway

 From bazaar peplum skirt

Finally got a chance to blog again. This is what I wore when I attended the CFA Summit. We were required to wear corporate attire or business casual. Thankful for peplum skirts like this, now corporate attire doesn't have to be plain and boring. Threw on this necklace to add playfulness and a pop of color to my outfit.

Thanks to my friends here Angie and Romina for taking my outfit shots sa uulitin (til next time)! haha :)

Dream Building

Sorry I haven't blogged for so long. I've been very busy lately with school works. I have Saturday class now and it's the only day of the week that I get to blog! Oh cruel fate, whyyyy!!

Anyway enough of my ranting! haha. Yesterday, I joined our school organization's team building at Pansol. It was a first time for me, I haven't been to a team building before so I was kinda excited and curious at the same time.

Upon arriving at the venue, everyone was given an envelope with a question and this is what I got. This one's easy as 1, 2, 3! No sweat at all! I kid, I kid! The choices were Dinar, Peso, Dollar, Pound and Euro. The first thing on my mind you ask? I wish there was Wifi  there so I can Google it. LOL! Anyway, the answer to this question is Dinar so I'm in for the violet/Dinar team. Yey!

Our organization's adviser. Prof. Guia giving his opening remarks.

The first challenge was jingle and flag making. This is the blue team practicing their cheer.
My teammates making our flag.

After the presentation and the awarding of the best cheer, the lunch was served boodle-fight style. Another first time for me it was really fun!! :)

Mt. Makiling

After eating lunch and getting some rest, it's time for the survival game, the highlight of the day, where all groups will compete against each other. There were activities and challenges that were lined up for each group. The first team to finish all 5 stations will win.

The endurance game.

Let's go violet team!

And finally after all the activities were done, we got to swim, have fun and just play around. And of course, I took this chance to take outfit shots with the help of my dear friend here, Jaziel. :)

Just to let you know our team was the overall champion. From the jingle and flag making game, endurance game to the survival game and all! No, I don't mean to brag but ok I admit I want to brag about that. LOL!
